LIGHT. BUILDING. KIT

LBK is the most compact luminaire in its class. It offers performance and intelligent light distribution usually associated with much larger luminaires. Despite being only 25mm wide and 50mm high, the LBK houses the power supply an electrical terminus within the housing. Many LED luminaires direct the light forward only but LBK features a cleverly designed reeded linear prism optic where light is directed forwards and also onto the surrounding surface. Its versatility is therefore assured.

CONSTRUCTS

Innovative and dynamic constructions can be built with LBK whether as an elegant individual fitting or by using corner connectors you can generate unique and creative designs. Create squares, rectangles, zig zags, complex molecular shapes. Use the Light Building Kit to fuel your creativity.
The square construction in the illustration uses 4 standards of the lengths (573, 873, 1173 and 1473mm) and connected via a linear and 90° connector.

DIFFUSE OR RADIAL

How do you want your light? If diffuse light is required, an opal PMMA cover can be specified. However, if a more radial light where light falls on the surface surrounding the LBK then a transparent and internal reeded diffuser optic can be used.

BORN IN 1993

LBK was conceived as a T5 fluorescent luminaire in 1993. It has won Red Dot and IF Design awards. Spectral proudly developed the new LED version to be exactly the same size as its fluorescent predecessor, and deliberately mirrors the same fixing dimensions opening up many refurbishment opportunities. Its diminutive size and light performance has always remained LBK’s forte.
