Hackney Marshes Centre, London

The Hackney Marshes Centre is a contemporary building in London just a stone’s throw from the Olympic Park. Located right next to a popular local sports stadium used for training by some of the country’s premier sports men and women, the Centre is a popular venue for conferences weddings and civil ceremony receptions. With its facade made of concrete and weathered steel, its exposed concrete interior and minimalist architecture, the Hackney Marshes Centre is a RIBA award winning building. In keeping with the minimalist design, RIDI equipped part of the building with the surface-mounted luminaire VENICE, which blends seamlessly into the raw architectural concept and complements the clarity of the structure.
